Park Ji-hoon Reveals Why Veteran Actor Yoo Hae-jin Admires Him

Park Ji-hoon shared that his genuine nature is the reason veteran actor Yoo Hae-jin has taken a liking to him.

On the October 25th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' Park Ji-hoon, the star of the movie 'The Man Who Lives with the King,' made an appearance.

Host Yoo Jae-suk mentioned, "I heard that Yoo Hae-jin really adores Ji-hoon," referring to the 29-year age gap between the two actors. Park Ji-hoon responded, "I think he liked me because I'm not pretentious." He humorously added, "Even when he said, 'Let's grab a meal after,' I would politely decline with 'Not today,'" revealing his unique way of saying no.

In a behind-the-scenes video, Yoo Hae-jin commented, "These days, we don't force such things," but humorously added, "But inside, I do," eliciting laughter.

'The Man Who Lives with the King' tells the story of King Danjong, the 6th king of Joseon, who was dethroned and exiled to Yeongwol, and the village chief of his exile location. The film explores the hidden story of King Danjong, with Yoo Hae-jin and Park Ji-hoon in leading roles. Park Ji-hoon has been praised for his portrayal of the tragic king.
