Kim Ji-won, a reporter from Ten Asia's music team, brings you a refreshing taste of the music industry like a 'shooting star'.
Singer Young Tak is expanding his presence across stages and screens with his dynamic performances. Already well-established as a singer, he is now venturing into new areas to broaden his scope.
Recently, Young Tak successfully concluded his '2025 Young Tak Solo Concert TAK SHOW4 - ENCORE', showcasing his prowess as a performer. He connected with fans nationwide during his tour and completed a five-month journey with encore performances from November 9-11 at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu.
His presence is also felt on television. Since October 23, Young Tak has joined tvN's humanities variety show 'Naked World History' as a new MC. From the first broadcast, his smooth hosting skills enhanced viewer engagement. He demonstrated his deductive skills by answering the first question correctly and continued to impress with his close answers to key clues, showing immediate reactions to unexpected revelations.
Young Tak's success on TV was anticipated. Previously, he showcased his excellent speaking skills as a co-MC on KBS's 'Dogs Are Incredible'. Filling in for Kang Hyung-wook, he formed a natural rapport with Lee Kyung-kyu, strengthening his presence. On KBS 1TV's documentary 'The Sisters Are Back', he expanded his range by providing narration with stable delivery.
His passion for acting remains strong. In the Disney+ original series 'Fine: Country Bumpkins', he played the role of Choi Joo-im, a customs warehouse guard at Busan Port, effectively portraying a supporting character and proving his potential.
On YouTube, Young Tak connects with fans through his candid charm. In January, he launched his YouTube channel 'Park Young Tak', engaging with the public. Through his channel, he shares not only his music but also his life behind the scenes, offering a glimpse of Young Tak beyond the stage. He presents various content, revealing new facets of himself not seen in traditional media.
Having gained public recognition as the runner-up on TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot', Young Tak is now establishing himself as an 'all-round entertainer', continuing his versatile activities across different genres.
