2PM member and actor Taecyeon is set to get married.
On the 25th, a media outlet reported that Taecyeon will hold a wedding ceremony with his girlfriend, who is four years younger, on April 24th in Seoul. The couple has reportedly been together for over a decade.
Taecyeon's agency, 51K, released an official statement saying, "To respect the privacy of the non-celebrity bride-to-be, all proceedings, including the wedding schedule, will be conducted privately. We ask for your understanding that specific details regarding the wedding cannot be disclosed." They added, "We ask for your blessings and support for Taecyeon's new beginning."
Taecyeon's side had previously announced the marriage news in November last year. At that time, the agency stated, "Taecyeon plans to hold a private wedding next spring in Seoul with someone he has been seeing for a long time. They have promised to share their lives together." They also mentioned, "To respect the non-celebrity bride-to-be, the wedding will be a private affair with only family, relatives, and close friends invited."
Last year, Taecyeon drew attention at the '2025 KBS Drama Awards' when he won the Excellence Award for a miniseries and expressed his gratitude to his bride-to-be, saying, "I sincerely thank you. I love you." With this, Taecyeon becomes the second member of 2PM to get married, following Hwang Chansung, who tied the knot in 2021.
