Kim Gyu-ri hosted a small fan meeting at Lee Ha-neul's tripe restaurant, where videos and photos of her dancing to Lee's music were later shared on social media.
The event was reportedly an impromptu fan service gesture. However, Lee Ha-neul later explained on his personal broadcast that "after singing a song, Kim Gyu-ri got excited and danced, leading some netizens to report the restaurant for violating food sanitation laws."
According to these laws, general restaurants are prohibited from having sound systems that allow patrons to sing or dance. Violations can result in a one-month business suspension for the first offense, a two-month suspension for the second, and business license revocation or closure for the third.
Lee Ha-neul expressed his frustration, stating, "We weren't conducting illegal business or using this for profit, yet we were inspected."
Lee Ha-neul, born in 1971, is 54 years old. He debuted with the group DJ DOC in 1994 and has been involved in various controversies, including multiple assault convictions and a public feud with the group Koyote.
