Official Statement from Galaxy Corporation

Hello, this is Galaxy Corporation.

We are continuing to take strong legal action in collaboration with the law firm Yulchon against defamatory acts, the spread of false information, malicious slander, and violations of personal rights concerning our artist, G-DRAGON (hereinafter referred to as 'the artist'). Here is the current progress.

Following the previous notice on rights infringement response (10.17), we have filed large-scale complaints against over 100 individuals responsible for malicious posts under the charge of violating the 'Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (Defamation),' based on evidence collected through reports from fans and our own monitoring.

Investigative agencies have identified multiple suspects through searches and seizures of major online communities and SNS platforms such as Nate Pann, Naver, DC Inside, TheQoo, and X (formerly Twitter). These suspects have been transferred to the police stations in their respective jurisdictions for investigation.

Currently, some suspects have admitted to the charges, and their investigations have been completed and forwarded to the prosecution, with the results pending. Active investigations are also ongoing at the police stage for suspects denying the charges.

However, we ask for your understanding that it is difficult to disclose information that can identify the suspects due to the Personal Information Protection Act and investigation procedures. We are working closely with relevant agencies for the swift and strict handling of this matter and are continuously securing evidence of malicious posts on various SNS and online platforms. We plan to expand civil and criminal actions sequentially to protect the artist's rights.

We will provide regular updates within the possible range if there are significant developments. However, please understand that the process of identifying and investigating suspects may take some time due to investigation procedures.

Galaxy Corporation is continuously monitoring all expressions referring to the artist, both domestically and internationally, and will do our utmost to ensure that the artist can work in a healthy and stable environment.

If fans discover malicious posts, please organize all items (URL, date of creation, poster ID or nickname, content of infringement, date of capture, etc.) into a single PDF file and send it to the report email below. This will be used as important evidence in the related legal proceedings.

We deeply appreciate the continuous interest and cooperation of fans towards the artist, and we will do our best to protect the rights of our artists in 2026 as well.

Thank you.
