BTS's Jin Mentioned During Baek Jong-won's Meeting with Brazil's First Lady

Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, mentioned BTS's Jin during a meeting with Brazil's First Lady.

Brazil's First Lady, Janja Lula da Silva, who is currently visiting South Korea, posted a video on her social media on the 23rd, capturing a private dinner with Baek Jong-won at a restaurant in Seoul. In her post, she mentioned Baek Jong-won and Jin's social media accounts, expressing gratitude by saying, "Thank you for the love. We are waiting for you in Brazil."

The video shows the meeting between Brazil's First Lady and Baek Jong-won. Baek presented a gift of merchandise signed by Jin. He explained, "BTS's Jin, who is a close friend of mine, wanted to join us but couldn't make it. He was disappointed not to be here." Baek added, "Jin signed a bottle of liquor he personally made and asked me to give it to you." The liquor is known to be a product for which Jin serves as an ambassador.

Baek Jong-won also remarked, "Many people in Brazil love Korea, and they especially support BTS's Jin. Thank you. I will definitely convey your message."

According to The Born Korea, the meeting between Baek Jong-won and Brazil's First Lady was arranged at her request. They discussed the global expansion potential of Korean cuisine based on K-sauce and ways to promote Korean food in Brazil. During the meeting, First Lady Janja emphasized 'cultural diplomacy led by the private sector' and officially invited Baek to Brazil in October, which he accepted on the spot.
