The popular K-pop group IVE, consisting of members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo, has officially marked their comeback.
On October 23, IVE released their second full-length album 'REVIVE+' at 6 PM, followed by a fan showcase at 7 PM at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The showcase was broadcast live on TikTok and YouTube.
IVE opened the event with a powerful performance, starting with their pre-released double title track 'BANG BANG,' which has already topped the Melon TOP100 chart, drawing enthusiastic cheers from fans.
This showcase, marking their first full album in nearly two years and ten months, featured album introductions, engaging talks, and various segments. IVE shared their thoughts on the long-awaited album and revealed behind-the-scenes stories from the music video shoot for the title track 'BLACKHOLE.' Notably, the scene filmed at a height of 555 meters in a skyscraper was confirmed to be real, astonishing the audience.
The event also included a special listening session where fans could appreciate the musical growth of the members. They shared insights into the creative process and highlights of the title track and some B-side tracks. Additionally, fans were treated to the point choreography of 'BANG BANG' and 'BLACKHOLE,' as well as solo tracks from each member, a first since their debut. IVE expressed their joy in sharing these tracks, saying, "We're thrilled to finally present these songs as official releases after teasing them at concerts."
The 'REVIVE+ Heart' segment, featuring fan-written reviews and messages of anticipation, was met with great enthusiasm. Members selected messages to respond to, expressing gratitude and engaging in lighthearted interactions by posing for 'BLACKHOLE' themed messages and responding to 'BANG BANG' support messages.
The highlight of the showcase was the first-ever performance of the title track 'BLACKHOLE.' The cinematic soundscape and synchronized choreography with dancers, along with the use of a long table and grand staging, amplified the song's gravitational pull, leaving a strong impression.
Concluding the showcase, IVE shared, "This album has been in the works for a long time, and we couldn't wait to share it with our fans. We're delighted to finally present it, and we hope our fans enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it."

Following the album's release, as of 8 AM on October 24, IVE has dominated major domestic music platforms, including Melon, Bugs, Genie, Flo, and Vibe, securing the top spot. All tracks, including solo songs, have entered the Melon HOT100 chart, showcasing their prowess as digital music powerhouses. The title track 'BLACKHOLE' also debuted on the TOP100 chart, drawing attention from fans worldwide as IVE continues their successful run.
