The group IVE has expressed their excitement about sharing the music charts with their label juniors, Kiki.
On the 23rd, IVE (members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) held a media showcase at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second full-length album, 'REVIVE+'.
Ahead of their comeback, IVE released the pre-release track 'BANG BANG'. As of 3 PM on the day of the showcase, 'BANG BANG' ranked second on the Melon streaming platform's 'Top 100'. The first place was claimed by their junior group, Kiki.
An Yujin stated, "It's an honor to compete with such amazing artists during our comeback, and I'm thrilled to be loved on the charts alongside our label family, Kiki. We've grown closer through variety show recordings and continue to support each other. I hope this album proves our worth, regardless of other artists."
Jang Wonyoung added, "I want to spend a lot of time with Dive (our fandom) while performing 'Blackhole' on music shows. We worked on this full-length album with our fans in mind, and I'm approaching the stage with joy and positivity, rather than focusing on achievements."
The title track 'Blackhole' is a shuffle-based track that unfolds in a cinematic atmosphere reminiscent of 'Interstellar'. It maximizes immersion with its expansive spatial feel and cinematic sound, musically embodying a world where extinction and birth coexist.
The album includes double title tracks 'BLACKHOLE' and 'BANG BANG', as well as 'Hush', 'Stuck In Your Head', 'Fireworks', 'HOT COFFEE', and solo tracks from each member: Jang Wonyoung's '8', Gaeul's 'Odd', Leeseo's 'Super ICY', Liz's 'Unreal', Rei's 'In Your Heart', and An Yujin's 'Force', totaling 12 tracks.
IVE's second full-length album 'REVIVE+' will be released at 6 PM (KST) today.
