Comedian Nam Chang-hee Marries Former Actress Known as 'Hangang IU'
Comedian Nam Chang-hee (44) has tied the knot with his non-celebrity wife, who has been revealed to be a former actress.

On the 23rd, a media outlet reported that Nam Chang-hee's wife is Yoon Young-kyung (35), who gained the title 'Hangang IU' after appearing on MBC's variety show 'Infinite Challenge'.

Yoon Young-kyung is a graduate of Dongduk Women's University's Broadcasting and Entertainment Department and was selected as the runner-up in the 2013 Miss Chunhyang pageant. She made her debut in the 2014 film 'Ode to My Father' and appeared in dramas such as 'Splendid Politics', 'Ms. Temper & Nam Jung-gi', the variety show 'Before Some Rise', the web drama 'The Most Perfect Confession Scam', and the movie 'Hot Blooded'.

She gained significant attention in 2014 when she appeared on MBC's 'Infinite Challenge - Hong Chul, Let's Get Married' special, earning the nickname 'Hangang IU'. Currently, she works as an officer in the Public Relations Department of Dongdaemun District Office and is active on the YouTube channel 'Dongdaemun-gu Office The original'.

Nam Chang-hee and Yoon Young-kyung held their wedding ceremony on the 22nd at the Dynasty Hall of Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The couple, who have a nine-year age difference, began dating publicly in July 2024 and became husband and wife after about 1 year and 7 months. The wedding was hosted by Jo Se-ho and Yoon Jung-soo, with singer Lee Juck performing the congratulatory song. The congratulatory speeches were given by Yang Se-hyung and Yoo Byung-jae.
