DinDin, a cast member of the popular Korean variety show '2 Days & 1 Night', recently shared that he was approached to participate in a well-known survival program.
On the October 22nd episode of KBS 2TV's '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4', the second part of the 'Five Brothers Family Trip' in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, was aired.
During the episode, the members engaged in a heated 'Hot Tub Karaoke' mission to win a local Pohang delicacy for dinner. DinDin got excited during the high-stakes game, while Kim Jong-min humorously doubted the authenticity of the crab dish, suspecting it might be a decoy.
Thanks to DinDin's efforts, the team finally succeeded on their last attempt, winning a single piece of dried fish and escaping the bathhouse after two hours. The members humorously chanted, "Those who can't do it always have excuses," quoting song lyrics.
Lee Jun expressed concern, saying, "The game was extremely difficult. I'm worried viewers might think we're dumb." DinDin, who has taken on the 'brain' role, confessed, "It's tough when people mistakenly think I'm smart."
DinDin revealed, "I was once contacted by an OTT survival program. They recognized my gaming skills from '2 Days & 1 Night'. I confidently went to the meeting, but they asked, 'What games are you good at?' I mentioned guessing pictures and capitals, but they asked if I had skills in chess or numbers. Later, I saw the teaser featuring Lee Sedol and Jang Dong-min, and realized why I wasn't a fit."
In the morning mission, Yoo Seon-ho and Moon Se-yoon won the chance to leave after breakfast, while Lee Jun, Kim Jong-min, and DinDin had to climb Naeyeonsan Mountain. Moon Se-yoon, who chose the right bus, explained, "There were many people from the top management. The atmosphere was tense, but the youngest team member was playing games. Would someone being dragged to the mountain be on their phone?"
Yoo Seon-ho shared, "I was fooled for 30 minutes," revealing how he was confused by the director's smooth talk. Moon Se-yoon teased Yoo Seon-ho about his recent public relationship, asking, "What are kids these days up to?"
Caught off guard, Yoo Seon-ho deflected by bringing up Moon Se-yoon's dating rumors. Moon Se-yoon humorously recounted waiting for his cheerleader wife during baseball games, joking about his antics when games went into extra innings.
