Comedian Lee Sung-mi has opened up about feeling betrayed by her close friend, No Sa-yeon.
In a preview clip of MBN's 'Dongchimi', released on the 18th, Lee Sung-mi reminisced about the past, saying, "There was no one else for No Sa-yeon but me, and she was everything to me."
However, their relationship changed drastically when they both fell for the same man.
Lee Sung-mi recalled the day No Sa-yeon returned from a trip to the United States. "We lived in the same apartment, and No Sa-yeon invited me over, saying 'Come to my place,'" she remembered.
Lee expected No Sa-yeon to have brought her a gift from the U.S. But when No Sa-yeon opened her bag, Lee's expectations turned into shock.
No Sa-yeon began taking out items from her bag, saying, "These are for our Uncle Moosong: pants, a T-shirt, shoes," revealing that all the gifts were for Lee Moo-song.
Lee Sung-mi expressed her disappointment, saying, "She invited me over just to show off. I was so upset that I wondered if I should serve her for life. There wasn't even a single piece of American gum for me."
She also realized, "Decades of friendship can crumble overnight because of one man."
Lee was particularly surprised by No Sa-yeon's changed demeanor, noting, "I didn't know she had such a short tongue," and mimicked her voice, causing laughter.
Meanwhile, 'Dongchimi' is set to air on the 21st.
