Comedian Kim Young-chul is leaving South Korea to embark on a new challenge.
On the 20th, the YouTube channel 'Kim Young-chul Original' released a video titled 'Why Are Billionaires Lining Up for Private Hot Springs? (Honest Review)'.
Earlier this month, on the 4th, Kim Young-chul experienced severe pain after a live radio broadcast and was rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with acute enteritis. He shared, "I've been working too much lately and ended up collapsing after my live radio show due to enteritis. To recover and recharge, I visited a super-luxury hot spring in Suanbo, Chungju."
Kim Young-chul visited a private Suanbo hot spring, which costs 1.7 million KRW per night. He explained, "Visiting that hot spring was truly a dream of mine. Some might think I paid for it myself, but no, our YouTube channel's chief producer generously covered it as part of the production budget." He also mentioned that he had mostly recovered from his enteritis.
Upon arriving at the hotel, Kim Young-chul stayed in a room named 'Gyeomhwa', which means 'humble and gentle'. He joked, "It's a virtue I really need. Humble. Because I'm arrogant."
Kim Young-chul was moved by the private moss garden and outdoor bath, enjoying welcome champagne and a dinner course meal as he relaxed. He wished for "8 hours of deep sleep to rid myself of bad energy," and woke up feeling refreshed.
After his restful break, Kim Young-chul announced, "Many people supported my dream of taking on new challenges after watching my Japanese language study episode. So, I'm going to challenge myself once more. I'm considering studying English again," and revealed his plans to study in the UK, raising anticipation.
Meanwhile, Kim Young-chul is a 14th generation comedian from KBS and currently hosts SBS's 'Kim Young-chul's PowerFM' and appears on JTBC's 'Knowing Bros'.
