Korean broadcaster Kim Sook has raised questions about the standards for obesity, sharing her personal views on the matter.

On the 19th, a video titled "Clearing Everything Out, For Real! Kim Sook's Desire for Material Things" was uploaded to Kim Sook's YouTube channel.

In the video, Kim Sook shared her experience of undergoing a health check-up. Appearing noticeably thinner, she explained, "I had to clear out for a colonoscopy yesterday. I emptied everything from top to bottom, so I shouldn't move too much right now." She added, "Why am I so nervous? Health check-ups always make me anxious," expressing her feelings before the examination.

After confirming that fellow broadcaster Song Eun-yi had completed her check-up a month ago, Kim Sook commented, "You love exercising, but your body isn't muscular. It's like you haven't exercised at all. On the other hand, I dislike exercising but have a muscular build. I was born with good genes."

During the body composition analysis (InBody) test, Kim Sook noted, "One measurement spiked, and it turned out to be body fat percentage. I thought it was muscle, but my muscle mass stayed the same." She further expressed her opinion on the results, saying, "I think the obesity standards are wrong. How thin do you have to be to be considered standard? I think I'm thin enough. I haven't gained weight."

During the endoscopy stage, when the medical staff adjusted her patient gown, she expressed embarrassment, saying, "I'm so embarrassed." After completing the examination under sedation, Kim Sook jokingly asked the production team, "Why are you laughing? What did you do to me?"

After finishing all the tests, Kim Sook reported the results to Song Eun-yi and had her first meal with porridge. She commented, "I'm getting my appetite back. I need to eat to protect my stomach," as she continued her meal.
