Lee Sung-ho, who served as a judge for 27 years, shares his views on capital punishment.

Last week, actress Yoon Yoo-sun and her husband, former chief judge Lee Sung-ho, appeared on KBS2's 'Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room,' achieving a peak viewership rating of 6%, the highest for Thursday entertainment shows. The couple is set to captivate audiences once again.

In the upcoming episode, Lee Sung-ho reflects on his 27-year career as a judge and shares his philosophy on sentencing. Known for presiding over the first trial of the infamous 'Eomgni Dad' case and sentencing the defendant to death, Lee revealed, "There were times I was so moved by the victims' plight that I couldn't pronounce the sentence without choking up." He emphasized the importance of careful deliberation in every judgment. Lee stated, "Personally, I believe the death sentence holds significance as it declares that certain criminal acts are socially unacceptable."

Lee Sung-ho is also set to share courtroom anecdotes. He recounts receiving threatening letters from defendants dissatisfied with his rulings, to the extent of advising his wife, Yoon Yoo-sun, to avoid going out late at night. He also recalls an incident where a defendant shouted obscenities and demanded to be released from handcuffs in court. What was Lee's response to the defendant's outburst?

In another intriguing story, Lee Sung-ho reveals a near-miss scam experience. While briefly hospitalized, he almost fell victim to a scam but managed to avoid it by staying alert. The would-be scammer was none other than his wife, Yoon Yoo-sun. The episode will reveal the story behind Yoon's promise to "listen better" to her husband and Lee's humorous retort, "Don't lie."

Catch these stories on KBS2's 'Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room' airing on the 19th at 8:30 PM.
