On October 19, a message exchange between Tzuyu and a netizen was posted on an online community. The message was originally sent on October 16.
In the exchange, a netizen reached out to Tzuyu via the fan communication app 'Bubble.' The netizen commented, "Can't you lose some weight on your legs? The backup dancer is slimmer than you."
Tzuyu replied with a simple "^^ Thanks," and added, "Save your money," showing she was unfazed by the comment.
The 'Bubble' platform is a paid service that requires a monthly subscription fee of 5,000 KRW.
As the message spread, both TWICE fans and international K-pop enthusiasts criticized the netizen for being "rude."
Meanwhile, TWICE, including Tzuyu, is currently on their world tour 'THIS IS FOR,' performing in 43 locations worldwide.
