In the fifth episode of ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Honor: Her Court' (directed by Park Gun-ho, written by Park Ga-yeon, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by How Pictures), the truth behind the 'Korean University Law Student Disappearance Case' from 20 years ago, involving the L&J (Listen & Join) trio, was revealed. Yoon Ra-young (played by Na Young-hee) was subjected to dating violence by her then-boyfriend Park Joo-hwan for smiling at another man. When Kang Shin-jae (Jung Eun-chae) tried to save her friend, she was also threatened, leading Hwang Hyun-jin (Lee Chung-ah) to strike with a pipe, causing Park Joo-hwan to fall into a lake. He was found days later in a hospital with memory loss due to a brain hemorrhage and went abroad for rehabilitation. Now, Park Joo-hwan has returned as prosecutor Park Je-yeol (Seo Hyun-woo).
Park Je-yeol, seemingly having regained his memory, claimed he was not the perpetrator. He expressed resentment towards Yoon Ra-young for breaking up via text and not visiting him in the hospital, sarcastically mentioning he didn't want to meet his friends as suspects and hinting at reopening the case. His audacious claim that victims can't escape hell left Yoon Ra-young feeling suffocated with disgust.
Determined not to surrender, the L&J trio resolved to fight back, even if it meant losing everything. However, an unexpected crisis arose. Kwon Jung-hyun (Lee Hae-young), the second-in-command at Haeil, was exposed as a 'Connect In' user and replaced Kang Shin-jae as the new L&J representative. This was part of a deal with Haeil's CEO, Sung Tae-im (Kim Mi-sook), who discovered Kang Shin-jae's plans to establish a public foundation and appoint herself as its head. Kwon Jung-hyun, kneeling before Sung Tae-im, promised to bring Kang Shin-jae back to Haeil, aiming to prevent the 'Connect In' exposure. Meanwhile, Sung Tae-im deliberately leaked engagement rumors between her daughter Kang Shin-jae and IT company The Prime's CEO Baek Tae-joo (Yeon Woo-jin) to the media.
Yet, Yoon Ra-young couldn't stop. Having defended numerous female sexual crime victims, she resolved to uncover the truth behind 'Connect In,' stemming from past trauma, stating, "We should have fought for ourselves at least once." Her strategy was a preemptive strike to silence Park Je-yeol about the past. Realizing that forensic pathologist Hong Yeon-hee (Baek Eun-hye) referred to her husband as 'hell,' Yoon Ra-young confronted Park Je-yeol, questioning his motives for approaching her.
However, Hong Yeon-hee, already gaslighted by Park Je-yeol, retorted, "Was it you? Trying to kill my husband?" Yoon Ra-young, seemingly admitting a mistake, delivered a shocking comeback, "I should have just killed him then," leaving viewers thrilled. The anticipation for how Hong Yeon-hee will be used as a counterattack card in the next episode is at an all-time high.
