Ock Joo-hyun, a renowned musical actress, recently appeared on the SBS variety show 'A-ni Geun-de Jinjja' (translated as 'But Really'), where she discussed her involvement in a controversial musical.
During the episode aired on the 16th, Ock Joo-hyun and Tak Jae-hoon shared a playful chemistry. Tak Jae-hoon reminisced, "I was once captivated by Ock Joo-hyun. Do you know why I approached you? All the Pink members were beautiful. I found you adorable back then," expressing his fondness.
Ock Joo-hyun responded, "You approached many people. You threw yourself at anyone," adding, "I ran away not because I was shy, but because you were too cheesy. But you were really popular."
Reflecting on her days with the group Fin.K.L, Ock Joo-hyun admitted, "I wasn't as slim back then. I was similar to Lee Soo-ji." Tak Jae-hoon commented, "You were beautifully chubby. Many men liked you, including those around me. But you were unaware, which is why you're still single."
When asked about her current relationship status, Ock Joo-hyun revealed, "I'm not dating anyone right now." Lee Sang-min added, "Her standards are high. Her ideal type is BTS's Jungkook," to which Ock Joo-hyun clarified, "He's not my ideal type as a man, but I respect him as an artist. Watching him brings me joy."
Ock Joo-hyun, who hasn't dated in over three years, confessed, "It's hard to choose. Trying to make things work with someone is difficult. It wasn't like this when I was younger."
When Lee Sang-min asked if she secretly dated during her Fin.K.L days, Ock Joo-hyun admitted, "I did." However, Tak Jae-hoon teased, "No, she didn't. I'll bet my fingers on it. She's saying it out of pride." Ock Joo-hyun retorted, "Bring fire and let's see," claiming she was the first among her group to get a driver's license to date.
Meanwhile, Ock Joo-hyun promoted the musical 'Anna Karenina,' which was embroiled in a 'casting monopoly' controversy. Despite appearing in 23 out of 38 performances, she did not directly address the issue.
Ock Joo-hyun described the musical, "It's about an affair. I play a married woman, and my counterpart is a handsome officer." Tak Jae-hoon humorously refused to watch, saying, "I won't watch something where the woman is bad. Isn't it betrayal?"
After singing a number from the musical, Ock Joo-hyun revealed, "There are many kissing scenes. Closed-mouth kisses are too fake, so I go in with an open mouth." Tak Jae-hoon jokingly asked, "Would you not do the musical if there were no kissing scenes?" causing laughter.
