The past of comedian Shingiru, known as 'Jjanhyung', has been revealed.
On the 16th, the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyung Shindongyeop' released a video titled 'Dangerous Level - Uncontrollable Mockery Party. Shingiru Lee Yongjin'.
In the video, Shingiru explained her use of the third-person nickname 'Ruru', saying, "I call myself 'Ruru' because I want people to see me as cute. After Kang Ho-dong's 'Hodong', it's me," eliciting laughter.
Regarding her friendship with Lee Yongjin, Shingiru shared, "We drink together and have traveled together." Lee Yongjin clarified, "We traveled with our spouses," but Shingiru emphasized "our trip," causing laughter.
Lee Yongjin exposed some of Shingiru's antics, saying, "She called me during a trip and whispered, 'Are you with your wife? I'll call you later,' and hung up. My wife asked, 'What kind of joke is this?' but she likes Shingiru too," he shared, laughing at the intense humor.
Lee Yongjin praised Shingiru as the "Talk Queen among female comedians," to which Shingiru responded, "There used to be no guidelines, but now people like it when you say good and cool things. It became less fun, so I went back to my old ways." Shindongyeop added, "Kang Ho-dong also had a phase of giving wise sayings," showing understanding.
Lee Yongjin also revealed Shingiru's jealousy, saying, "She asks, 'Among Pungjuru (Pungja, Lee Gukju, Shingiru), who is the sexiest?'"
Describing herself as a 'jealous yet delicate woman', Shingiru admitted, "I want to remain a sexy woman, but it's not easy. I might be conservative, but I don't engage in intimate relations unless love is certain," causing laughter. Lee Yongjin advised, "Everyone here lives like that," adding humor.
Lee Yongjin criticized Shingiru's smoking habit, saying, "You're addicted to nicotine." Shingiru openly admitted, "I just smoked three cigarettes during the break." She also shared a past experience as an adult product ambassador, boasting, "During my podcast days, sales increased sixfold after my review. It's a different pleasure than what people provide. I received 60 samples and shared them with friends."
The video also mentioned Shindongyeop's daughter entering university. Lee Yongjin congratulated, "Congratulations on your daughter's college acceptance. I wanted to say this after reading the news. I understand the desire for your child to succeed, as my child is entering elementary school." Shindongyeop's daughter has been accepted to Seoul National University.
