Kim Eui-young Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to Share Fish-shaped Pastry With in Cold Weather
Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one trot singer people want to share fish-shaped pastry with during a cold snap.

From November 4th to 10th, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to eat fish-shaped pastry with during a cold snap?'

Kim Eui-young claimed the top spot. She graduated from Daejeon Arts High School and continued her studies at Chung-Ang University's Department of Traditional Arts. She debuted as a trot singer and gained a solid fan base by finishing in the top 5 on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2'. Judge Jo Young-soo praised her versatility, noting she could excel in various genres beyond trot. Kim Eui-young has since appeared on numerous variety shows, including 'Miss Trot 2' and 'Immortal Songs', maintaining an active presence.

Kim Yang secured the second position. She debuted in the music industry with the single 'Don't Cry' in 2008 and gained public recognition after appearing on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot' in 2019. Known to be friends and colleagues with Jang Yoon-jeong, Jang once reminisced, "We're the same age and both new to the female trot scene, so we had many opportunities to perform together."

Kim Da-hyun came in third. Recently, he has taken legal action against his former agency for unpaid fees. His current agency, Hyun Company, announced on November 4th that Kim Da-hyun filed a complaint with the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul against his former agency's CEO for fraud and embezzlement. Additionally, at the end of last month, they applied for a payment order for unpaid fees at the Seoul Central District Court.

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer has recently gained the most favorability?', 'Which male singer has recently gained the most favorability?', 'Which female trot singer has recently gained the most favorability?', and 'Which male trot singer has recently gained the most favorability?'
