'The Logic' Reveals Final Round Contenders: A Thrilling Showdown Awaits

'The Logic' has unveiled the contenders for the 'TOP 10' who will advance directly to the final round.

On the October 12th episode of KBS2's 'The Logic' (directed by Kim Tae-joon), the 100 logic players who completed the first round 'The Leader Battle' and the second round 'Choice OX Quiz' entered the third round 'Solution Battle.' The players engaged in intense debates and 'solution hunting,' maximizing the excitement and fun of the discussions. After the third round, the interim rankings based on 'coin holdings' were announced. Seo Chul-gu claimed the top spot, while Lim Hyun-seo, who had been leading solo, dropped to fifth place, surprising everyone. The anticipation for the final episode heightened as a showdown between 'Logic Heroes' and 'Logic Villains' for the 'TOP 10' spots was announced.

After the second round, players were shocked by the revelation of the identities of the 25 'Paradoxers' causing team rifts. The 'coin distribution' further widened the gap among team members, leading to anger and betrayal. In the third round, the results of the 'group formation' based on the 'entry inspection forms' written by the 100 players were announced. Ten players with a high openness scale for entry applicants were placed in Group A, while ten cautious players were placed in Group B. They were tasked with presenting solutions on 'realizing family immigration for foreign workers.' The remaining 80 players were in Group C, tasked with voting for the winning team after listening to the presentations of Groups A and B, and finding flaws in their solutions as 'solution hunters.'

Group A proposed a three-step plan to encourage regional work for foreign workers, support loans, and grant 'freedom of job choice' after four years of service. Group B suggested establishing 'special labor zones' to grant labor rights to immediate family members. During this process, Noh Young-hee from Group A and Lim Hyun-seo from Group B engaged in sharp exchanges, creating palpable tension. Group C critically questioned Group A's solution, asking, "Is it appropriate to bind immigrants seeking a better life in Korea with loans for four years?" They also challenged Group B with questions like "What are the criteria for selecting special labor zones?" and "How do you view the possibility of it being unconstitutional?" putting the presenters on the spot.

The final vote declared Group A the winner. Seo Chul-gu, Park Moon-sung, Srijan Kumar, and Kim Dong-hyun were recognized as 'solution hunters' from Group C. Subsequently, Group A received 150 coins, and each 'solution hunter' was awarded 10 coins. As a result, the TOP 10 coin holders after the third round were Seo Chul-gu, Shin In-kyu, Geon-il, Noh Young-hee, Won Jong-hyun, Lim Hyun-seo, Kim Chan-kyu, Eom Se-hoon, Nam Hyun-jong, and Han Jung-min. Seo Chul-gu maintained the top position with consistent performance across rounds, while Lim Hyun-seo, who had been leading, fell to fifth place. Meanwhile, Geon-il surged to third place after receiving coins from idol team members Yoo Jung and Lee Dae-hwi, becoming the surprise of the round.

Amidst the mixed emotions, a sudden announcement declared, "The protagonist of the final round can change from now on." Previously, the 100 players had voted for five 'Logic Heroes' deemed essential for the final round and five 'Logic Villains' considered dangerous if they advanced. The last mission revealed that three 'Logic Villains' from the TOP 10 would face off against 'Logic Heroes' who didn't make the TOP 10 in 1:1 debate battles.

The final episode of KBS2's 'The Logic' will air on October 19th at 9:50 PM.
