Korean Actress Choi Jung-yoon Announces Remarriage to Non-Celebrity Businessman
Korean actress Choi Jung-yoon, 49, has announced her remarriage to a non-celebrity businessman who is five years her junior.

On October 12, Choi shared the news in a video titled 'I Thought a Lot About Whether to Tell You' on her YouTube channel 'Choi Jung-yoon's Double Life.' In the video, she revealed her remarriage during a gathering with friends.

Choi candidly explained her reasons for disclosing her remarriage. She said, "I felt like I was heavily labeled as a single mom. I wanted to shed that label," adding, "I hadn't officially said 'I'm married' until now, so I decided to come out with it."

Her husband is a businessman she has known for some time. Choi mentioned, "We played golf together a few times, and I helped promote his business. Initially, I intended to introduce him to a friend," she said, adding, "Somehow, he became my younger partner."

Choi also shared how their relationship deepened. "While playing golf together, we talked about various things, and I offered to help with his business. He was based in Jecheon, so I planned to stay at a pension with another friend," she recalled.

She continued, "He offered to carry my luggage to the pension, and we ended up having a drink together. My daughter showed him all her talents, and suddenly, after seeing him for the third time, she looked at us and said, 'Dad? Mom?' It was amazing. I felt it was destiny."

Choi added, "On the third day of meeting him, my daughter sat us down and called us 'Dad' and 'Mom.' It was incredible, and I felt it was fate. No matter how much I love someone, if my child doesn't like them, remarriage would be difficult. But my daughter opened her heart first," she said, smiling. "My husband adores my daughter and is a kind and good person."

Regarding her husband, Choi said, "He prefers to stay out of the spotlight and is very shy. Everyone in our neighborhood knows and supports us."
