Bae In-hyuk stars as the lead character, Sun Tae-hyung, in the Wednesday-Thursday drama 'I'll Give You the Universe'. The third episode, which aired on the 11th, recorded a viewership rating of 1.8%, maintaining a 1% range for two consecutive weeks.
'I'll Give You the Universe' is a chaotic cohabitation romance that unfolds when a pair of in-laws, who had a rocky first meeting, suddenly find themselves raising their 20-month-old nephew, Woo-joo. In the third episode, Tae-hyung (played by Bae In-hyuk) and Hyun-jin (played by Roh Jeong-eui) begin their joint parenting journey. While Hyun-jin is at work, Tae-hyung is tasked with taking care of Woo-joo (played by Park Yoo-ho), and he humorously rebels against Hyun-jin's detailed reporting demands by showcasing his unique parenting style.
In their tumultuous cohabitation life, the boiler breaks down, revealing Tae-hyung's hidden soft side beneath his prickly exterior. Faced with a repair estimate of 1 million won, Tae-hyung seeks help from his neighbor, Doo-sik (played by Kim In-kwon). When Doo-sik probes into his relationship with Hyun-jin, Tae-hyung cheekily responds, "We're a cute pair. Raising a baby and being together."
Amidst this, Tae-hyung secretly worries about Hyun-jin catching a cold due to the broken boiler and visits the photoshoot of star photographer Amy Choo (played by Jin Seo-yeon), working as her assistant for the day to earn money for the repair. The episode concludes with Tae-hyung and Hyun-jin clinking glasses after a tiring day, only to wake up in the same bed the next morning, signaling the start of their romance.
'I'll Give You the Universe' airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:40 PM.
