TWICE member Dahyun is temporarily halting her activities due to an ankle fracture.
JYP Entertainment announced on the 11th, "After discovering an issue with Dahyun's ankle early in the first leg of the tour, she continued treatment in the U.S. Upon returning to Korea, a detailed examination revealed a fracture." Medical professionals have advised that Dahyun requires ample rest and ongoing treatment.
The agency stated, "Considering the nature of flights and performances, which involve continuous walking, movement, and choreography that could strain the fractured area, we have decided, after thorough discussions with the artist, company, and medical team, to prioritize the artist's health. Consequently, Dahyun will not participate in the North American concerts scheduled from February 13 to March 7."
They added, "Dahyun will focus on rest and treatment for the time being. Her participation in future schedules will be determined after closely monitoring her recovery progress and consulting with her and the medical team."
Meanwhile, TWICE is currently on their world tour 'THIS IS FOR', performing in 43 locations worldwide.
