BLACKPINK Collaborates with National Museum of Korea for 'DEADLINE' Album Launch

BLACKPINK is set to expand their influence beyond music into cultural heritage with the release of their third mini-album 'DEADLINE'. This unique experience is designed to captivate global fans.

According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK will collaborate with the National Museum of Korea from October 26 to November 8 for the 'National Museum X BLACKPINK' project. This collaboration is a significant meeting between BLACKPINK, who have been pivotal in K-pop history, and Korea's representative K-museum, with Spotify as an official partner.

During this period, a lighting event will transform the exterior of the National Museum of Korea into a pink hue, symbolizing BLACKPINK and the project. The members will also participate in audio guides for eight representative artifacts, serving as ambassadors of Korean cultural heritage.

In the main lobby, known as the Path of History, a listening session for the entire 'DEADLINE' album will be held at the Gwanggaeto Stele. Some sessions will be exclusive to Spotify Premium users. Pre-listening begins on October 19 at 8 PM for those who reserve through Naver, and after the album's release on October 27 at 2 PM, it will be open to all museum visitors during operating hours.

BLACKPINK is the first K-pop artist to engage in such a large-scale official collaboration with the National Museum of Korea. This fresh approach, bridging music and cultural heritage, is expected to captivate not only their global fanbase but also cultural industry insiders and the general public.

BLACKPINK's third mini-album 'DEADLINE' will be released on October 27 at 2 PM. It includes five tracks: the title track 'GO', pre-released song 'JUMP', 'Me and my', 'Champion', and 'Fxxxboy'. YG Entertainment previously stated that the album, true to its name 'DEADLINE', will be filled with 'unforgettable peak moments' and 'the brightest present of BLACKPINK'.
