K-pop artist WOODZ (Cho Seung-youn) is set to kick off his first full-length album 'Archive. 1' with the pre-release tracks 'CINEMA' and 'Bloodline'.
According to his agency, EDAM Entertainment, WOODZ will release these tracks on various online music platforms at 6 PM on the 12th.
The pre-release title track 'CINEMA' features an addictive chorus melody, powerful high notes, and storytelling reminiscent of a movie, encapsulating WOODZ's unique emotional depth. The track was first introduced during WOODZ's solo concert last year, where it received an enthusiastic response from fans.
'Bloodline', also being released, is a collaboration with international writers, including producer Ryan Linvill, Nathan, and HOHO (Kim Ho-hyun), who previously worked on 'Drowning'. The song explores the theme of 'the essence flowing in the blood that made me who I am today', expressed through 'Rock and Roll', delivering an energy that everyone can enjoy.
Ahead of the pre-release, WOODZ heightened anticipation for his comeback by unveiling a highlight medley video, concept photos, and a teaser for the 'CINEMA' music video. The highlight medley video, in particular, showcased the overall mood of the album's tracks, divided into four distinct themes.
'Archive. 1' marks WOODZ's first full-length album since his debut, featuring a total of 17 tracks, including the pre-release songs 'CINEMA' and 'Bloodline', as well as double title tracks 'Human Extinction' and 'NA NA NA'. WOODZ has participated in writing, composing, and producing all the tracks, reflecting his musical identity.
