Korean Actor Jung Eun-woo Passes Away at 40: Colleagues Pay Tribute
The entertainment industry mourns the loss of actor Jung Eun-woo (real name Jung Dong-jin), who passed away at the age of 40. Tributes from colleagues have been pouring in.

On October 11, pop artist Nancy Lang commented on Jung Eun-woo's last social media post, saying, "Eun-woo, I just heard the news. I didn't realize these photos were a signal a day before. My heart aches and I'm so sad. Why were you in so much pain? Rest in peace in heaven, Eun-woo. My deepest condolences."

On the same day, actress Kim Yoon-seo shared a photo with the late Jung Eun-woo on her social media, writing, "Goodbye, Eun-woo. I'm sorry. I couldn't even say a proper farewell." She added, "Today, my heart is shattered. But thinking of the times you endured, I can't just cry. You went through so much. I'll pray for you. Farewell, my friend."

Jung Eun-woo passed away on October 11. He was 40 years old. His memorial is set up at the New Goryeo Hospital Funeral Hall in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, Room 2. The funeral will be held on October 13 at noon, and the burial will take place at Byeokje Crematorium.

Jung Eun-woo debuted in 2006 with the KBS2 youth drama 'Sharp 3' and appeared in various works such as 'Bride of the Sun,' 'Five Fingers,' 'A Well Grown Daughter,' 'Stranger,' 'The Return of Hwang Geum-bok,' and 'My Only One.' His last work was the 2021 film 'Memory: Manipulated Murder.'
