In the 12th episode of tvN's 'Spring Fever' (directed by Park Won-guk, written by Kim Ah-jung), which aired at 8:50 PM on the 10th, viewers witnessed Yoon Bom (played by Lee Joo-bin) breaking free from the shackles of her past and choosing to stand on her own, alongside Seon Han-gyeol (played by Jo Jun-young) who opts for growth away from his family.
During the episode, Yoon Bom decides to confront the malicious rumors surrounding her head-on, with Seon Jae-kyu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun) showing his support by respecting her decision and waiting patiently as a steadfast ally.
Yoon Bom heads to school, facing the rumors spread through the bulletin board without flinching, and stands before her students. Reflecting on her past reluctance to fulfill her duties as an ethics teacher, she promises to dedicate herself to her classes with the time she has left.
Returning to her former school, Yoon Bom continues to endure gossip about infidelity and her origins, but experiences a turning point through a court ruling delivered by Choi I-jun (played by Cha Seo-won).
Upon reading the ruling, Yoon Bom sheds tears and boldly reveals to her gossiping colleagues that she was a victim of stalking, not infidelity. She also cleverly responds to being called Jeong Nan-hee's daughter by attributing it to her beauty, delivering a satisfying comeback.
Meanwhile, Seon Han-gyeol, wanting to gift his crush Choi Se-jin (played by Lee Jae-in) with a first-place finish, intentionally answers exam questions incorrectly. However, upon discovering this, Choi Se-jin becomes angry at the gesture, which she sees as undermining her own achievements, and breaks up with him.
Seon Jae-kyu sternly advises Seon Han-gyeol that his actions were not a gift but charity, disrespecting the other person, prompting Seon Han-gyeol to reflect on his shortsightedness.
Matured by his uncle's advice, Seon Han-gyeol revisits his dream of attending college, which he had considered abandoning out of concern for leaving Seon Jae-kyu alone.
Feigning indifference, Seon Jae-kyu encourages his nephew's independence and supports Seon Han-gyeol's future. As Yoon Bom returns to Seoul after her exchange duty and Seon Han-gyeol prepares for college, Seon Jae-kyu also embarks on his own new journey, bringing the series to a warm conclusion.
