Epic Showdown of Villains and Heroes on 'From One to Ten'

The knowledge chart show 'From One to Ten' is set to present an epic showdown between the 'worst villains' that have enraged the world and the 'hidden heroes' that have inspired it.

On the upcoming episode airing on the 9th on tcast E Channel, hosts Jang Sung-kyu and Lee Sang-yeob will be joined by special guest Hwang Je-seong, known as the 'variety show cheat key,' to explore the theme 'Beyond Imagination! Villains vs. Heroes that Shook the World.'

The episode will feature a harrowing real-life villain story centered around the keyword 'fire,' leaving everyone in distress. Jang Sung-kyu expressed his dismay, saying, "I was at a loss for words after reviewing the story in advance." The tragedy unfolded when a kindergarten bus in China collided with a vehicle inside a tunnel, leading to a fire that claimed the lives of 11 children, a teacher, and the driver. Investigations revealed gasoline and a lighter inside the bus, indicating arson. The identity of the perpetrator shocked not only the bereaved families but everyone involved. Lee Sang-yeob lamented, "What did the children do to deserve this?" while Hwang Je-seong expressed his anger, "What a truly evil person."

The story of a '12-year-old hitman' that shocked Sweden will also be unveiled. The boy committed a murder-for-hire for 40 million won, and it was revealed that he had additional murder requests lined up. Although four adults who ordered the killings were apprehended, the case remains shrouded in mystery as there was no known connection between the perpetrators and the victims. Hwang Je-seong, comparing the boy to his own child, was left speechless, "At 12, he's not much older than my eldest, yet he committed such a heinous act..." Lee Sang-yeob reacted with outrage, "The world is a scary place." The motives and details of the boy's crimes will be revealed in the broadcast.

A chilling 'patient death mystery' at a German hospital will also be explored. Over several months, 10 elderly patients, all in their 70s and 80s with fragile health, died under suspicious circumstances. They all trusted a 44-year-old man, who was later arrested for murder. Shockingly, he had plans to kill 27 more people. Hwang Je-seong was left speechless, "It's like something out of a movie," while Lee Sang-yeob was furious, "Is he insane? He's a demon."

The episode will also cover stories of a liquor store thief that shook America, a mysterious hero who stopped an explosive with his body, an outlaw on a perilous flight, a surprise hero at 35,000 feet, a remarkable solver of a child disappearance case, a hero who saved neighbors during a Hong Kong fire disaster, and a train crew member who stopped a knife-wielding attacker. These real-life tales of villains and heroes will be revealed in full.
