The episode airing on the 7th of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' features Bae Sung-jae, former short track speed skater Kwak Yoon-gi, and Park Seung-hee in a special dedicated to the '2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics'.
During the show, Lee Soo-geun shares a humorous anecdote, saying, "When Bae Sung-jae and I were commentating on a variety show together, he often criticized announcer Kim Da-young, so I joined in without knowing they were dating." Bae Sung-jae then explains, "I was worried when she fell hard during a game, so I said it would be better if she didn't run," revealing a glimpse into their secret dating days.
Kwak Yoon-gi, who retired last April, shares, "While competing in the national team selection with 2007-born Lim Jong-eon, I realized I should retire. The speed was completely different," and adds, "I think the generational shift among short track skaters was finally completed after my retirement." He candidly admits, "I haven't worn skates since retiring, fearing I might want to skate again."
Park Seung-hee also shares, "There was intense rivalry with Chinese skaters. I couldn't hold back and ended up fighting, with them speaking Chinese and me Korean," revealing behind-the-scenes stories from her athlete days. Kwak Yoon-gi adds, "I was there at the scene. From afar, it looked serious, so I rushed to stop it, but up close, it was a childish fight," sharing his firsthand account.
The 'Knowing Bros' 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics special airs at 8:50 PM.
