K-pop Star Lee Chan-won to Headline 'National Singing Contest' in Daegu
K-pop singer Lee Chan-won, 31, is set to make a special guest appearance on the 'National Singing Contest' in Daegu, South Korea.

The 2152nd episode of KBS 1TV's 'National Singing Contest' will air on the 8th, featuring the Daegu Nam-gu edition. The event will take place on a special stage at the west side of the Daegu Library, where 15 finalist teams will showcase their diverse talents and strong vocal skills, promising a lively celebration.

The show will also feature a lineup of popular guest performers. Miss Kim will kick off the event with 'Dwel Nom,' followed by Moon Yeon-joo's sophisticated performance of 'Doryeon-nim.' Kim Sung-hwan will perform 'Yakjangsu,' and Twin Girls will present 'Bee Butterfly Love.'

The highlight of the day will be Lee Chan-won's closing performance. Known as 'Chanto Baegi,' Lee is expected to captivate the audience with his renditions of 'Today Somehow' and 'Jintto Baegi,' drawing thunderous applause and cheers.

Additionally, the episode will feature a variety of group performances, including a family team with a 12-year age gap between siblings performing 'In the Bus,' a charming dance by a quartet of elementary school students titled 'Pig Rabbit,' and a delightful act by three 7-year-old kindergarten friends called 'Guests Are Coming.'

The Daegu Nam-gu edition of 'National Singing Contest' will air on the 8th at 12:10 PM.
