Hyeri Takes Strong Legal Action Against Online Harassment

Hyeri, former member of the girl group Girl's Day, has announced a firm stance against online trolls.

On the 5th, Hyeri's agency, Sublime, stated, "We are taking strong legal action against all illegal activities targeting Hyeri online, including defamation, insults, sexual harassment, and the spread of false information." They further revealed, "We have filed criminal complaints against the authors of related posts twice, from 2024 to 2025."

The agency added, "The identities of many suspects have been identified, and the cases have been transferred to the relevant police stations. Some have already been forwarded to the prosecution on charges such as insult." They emphasized, "We will continue to monitor and collect evidence, and will take immediate legal action against any further illegal activities without prior notice. There will be no leniency or settlements, and we will respond firmly to eradicate criminal acts against our artist."

Recently, Hyeri shared a session with a psychiatrist on her YouTube channel. The consultation revealed that while she gains energy from relationships with others, she struggles to rely on anyone. The diagnosis of "a life of enduring by taking responsibility for oneself" brought her to tears.

Hyeri is set to appear in the second season of Netflix's variety show 'Mystery Investigation Team,' premiering on the 27th.

Below is the full statement from Hyeri's agency.
