On the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang,' airing on the 6th, Oh Sang-jin, a quintessential elite broadcaster and the original 'mom's friend's son,' will make his debut as a new chef. Known for his versatility in cultural programs, entertainment, and acting, Oh is set to showcase his 25 years of culinary experience.
In the VCR to be aired, Oh Sang-jin is seen waking up quietly at dawn and heading to the kitchen. He begins preparing breakfast before his wife Kim So-young and their 7-year-old daughter Sua wake up. Oh and Kim, who was his junior at MBC, tied the knot in 2017 after two years of dating. Kim is currently a busy entrepreneur managing various brands, and the recent news of her securing a $70 million investment has garnered significant attention.
What also caught viewers' attention was the immaculate condition of Oh Sang-jin's home, revealed for the first time on television. The couple's new residence is pristine, with a simple white and brown interior. The kitchen, in particular, stands out with its neatly organized dishes and utensils. Oh explained, "My wife (Kim So-young) is tidy, and I also enjoy cleaning."
Early in the morning, Oh Sang-jin begins preparing breakfast for their daughter Sua. He shared, "My wife is extremely busy with her business, and I have more free time, so I handle most of the household chores. I find that both childcare and cooking suit me well, and I'm satisfied with our current lifestyle," he said with a smile.
'New Release, Pyeonstorang' will air on the 6th at 8:30 PM.
