On November 4th, Park Yoochun posted on his Instagram in Japanese, saying, "This year, I was able to participate in the Takao-san Tosho Yakouin Temple event. It was an honor to meet Mr. Hidehito Sato. I wish you a valuable year in 2026," along with several photos.
The photos reveal Park Yoochun attending a temple event in Japan. Notably, he is seen wearing traditional Japanese attire, blending seamlessly with the locals, which caught the attention of many.
Park Yoochun debuted in 2003 with the group TVXQ. In 2016, he was accused of rape, but the charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. In 2019, he was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year probation for methamphetamine use.
At the time, Park held a press conference stating, "If I have done drugs, I will retire from the entertainment industry," only for the drug charges to be confirmed later. Despite initially announcing his retirement, he has since resumed activities, focusing on overseas markets like Japan.
His former fiancée, Hwang Hana, the granddaughter of the founder of Namyang Dairy Products, was recently arrested and indicted on drug charges.
