On October 5, online communities buzzed with speculation that Ha Jung-woo and Cha Jung-won have been dating for over eight years. Some netizens pointed to photos of pets posted on social media by Cha Jung-won and Hwang Bo-ra in 2018 as evidence of their long-term relationship.
At the time, Hwang Bo-ra, who was dating Ha Jung-woo's brother, shared a photo of a Bichon Frise believed to be Ha Jung-woo's pet. Cha Jung-won also posted a photo of a Bichon Frise on her social media. Observant netizens noted the similar floor patterns in the photos, suggesting the two were a couple back then.
Meanwhile, on October 4, Ha Jung-woo confirmed his relationship with Cha Jung-won, who is 11 years his junior. Ha Jung-woo's agency, Workhouse Company, told TenAsia, "Ha Jung-woo is in a relationship," but dismissed any marriage rumors.
