Ha Jung-woo Returns to TV After 19 Years in 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea'
Actor Ha Jung-woo is set to make his long-awaited return to television after 19 years, starring alongside actress Lim Soo-jung in the drama 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea'.

The new tvN weekend drama 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea' (hereafter referred to as 'Landlord') will premiere on March 14th. The production team has released photos from the script reading session featuring Ha Jung-woo, Lim Soo-jung, Kim Jun-han, Jung Soo-jung, and Shim Eun-kyung.

'Landlord' is a suspenseful drama about a debt-ridden landlord who becomes involved in a fake kidnapping scheme to protect his family and property. The series is directed by Im Pil-sung, known for films like 'Antarctic Journal' and 'Persona', and written by Oh Han-ki, a recipient of the 7th Young Writer's Award.

Ha Jung-woo expressed his excitement about returning to the small screen, saying, "It's been such a long time since I've participated in a drama. I'm eager to create something truly enjoyable." Lim Soo-jung, returning to TV after five years, shared her anticipation, stating, "Through this project, I hope to challenge myself with a new character and showcase a different side of me."

Ha Jung-woo will portray Ki Soo-jong, a man who buys a building with loans and finds himself in debt. Lim Soo-jung will play his wife, Kim Sun, who remains calm and resourceful in the face of crisis. Kim Jun-han and Jung Soo-jung will play a couple close to Ki Soo-jong and Kim Sun, becoming entangled in unexpected events that add tension to the storyline.

'How to Become a Landlord in Korea' will air its first episode on March 14th at 9:10 PM.
