An Bo-hyun, who recently went public with his relationship, was involved in a car accident.

On the October 3rd episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Spring Fever' (directed by Park Won-guk, written by Kim Ah-jung, planned by CJ ENM STUDIOS, produced by Bon Factory), Seon Jae-kyu (played by An Bo-hyun) and Yoon Bom (played by Lee Joo-bin) shared their pasts with each other.

The episode achieved its highest ratings yet, with an average of 5.5% and a peak of 6.4% nationwide on cable, IPTV, and satellite platforms. In the metropolitan area, it recorded an average of 5.3% and a peak of 6.3%. The drama also ranked first in its time slot across all channels, including terrestrial, among the 20-49 age demographic, according to Nielsen Korea.

In the episode, Yoon Bom's mother, Jung Nan-hee (played by Na Young-hee), visited Shinsu-eup to find her daughter and narrowly escaped a car accident. In a tense moment, 'Shinsu-eup Hero' Seon Jae-kyu miraculously appeared to save her, providing a cathartic moment for viewers. Unaware that Seon Jae-kyu is Yoon Bom's boyfriend, Jung Nan-hee showed interest in him, adding a touch of humor to the situation.

Due to car trouble, Jung Nan-hee ended up staying at Seon Jae-kyu's house, leading to an unintended reunion with Yoon Bom, creating a tense atmosphere. Upon discovering their relationship, Jung Nan-hee strongly opposed it, but the couple's bond only grew stronger. Jung Nan-hee decided to stay in Shinsu-eup to keep an eye on them, drawing attention from viewers.

Meanwhile, Yoon Bom struggled with resurfacing past traumas after reuniting with her mother, recalling a painful memory of being slapped by a parent. Sensing her distress, Seon Jae-kyu took her to a jiu-jitsu gym to lift her spirits, resulting in a heartwarming date that delighted viewers.

However, tension rose as it was revealed that Jung Nan-hee was observing everything. In a twist, Seon Jae-kyu saved Jung Nan-hee from an impending accident, only to be involved in a car accident himself, causing chaos. Yoon Bom rushed to the hospital to check on him and was relieved to find that he had escaped serious injury, showcasing his resilience. Despite the relief, Yoon Bom felt guilty, blaming her mother for Seon Jae-kyu's accident and expressing her pent-up anger, "Why do people have to suffer because of one person?" She then opened up to Seon Jae-kyu about her trauma, adding to the emotional depth.

The episode also delved into the backstory of Seon Jae-kyu and Choi I-jun (played by Cha Seo-won), who were once close friends but are now rivals. Seon Jae-kyu, who endured a difficult life under an abusive father, was financially supported by Choi I-jun. After a fire at Seon Jae-kyu's house resulted in his father's death, Choi I-jun accused him of murder. When Jung Nan-hee sided with Seon Jae-kyu, Choi I-jun confronted her, shouting, "He's the one who killed his father!" Seon Jae-kyu and Yoon Bom overheard this, escalating the conflict.

Towards the end of the episode, Yoon Bom decided to stand by Seon Jae-kyu, believing Choi I-jun's accusations to be false. Seon Jae-kyu then made a shocking confession to Yoon Bom, "I killed my father," leaving viewers eager to see how their story will unfold.

The 11th episode of tvN's 'Spring Fever' will air on October 9th at 8:50 PM.
