Actress Shin Se-kyung reminisced about her school days, focusing on academics after her debut as a child actress.

On October 1st, a video titled 'And is Se-kyung Really a Scary Person?ㅠ' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Yojung Jae-hyung.'

Shin Se-kyung entered the entertainment industry in 1998 as a poster model for singer Seo Taiji's 'Take 5.' At the time, she was only eight years old. Jae-hyung asked her if she realized the significant influence Seo Taiji had. Shin Se-kyung responded, "I was too young to fully understand," adding, "It was difficult because I couldn't cry in situations where I needed to."

She also explained the hiatus in her career after her debut. When asked why she didn't continue acting consistently, Shin Se-kyung revealed, "I unintentionally had a break because I kept failing auditions." She added, "Looking back, it was a great blessing," and "Thanks to that, I was able to spend my school days meaningfully."

She also shared an anecdote about her academic performance. When Jae-hyung mentioned, "I heard you were ranked 7th in your school for both your beauty and intelligence," Shin Se-kyung corrected him, saying, "I was 8th." She explained, "It was a middle school with a strong academic focus, so I studied hard," and "The memories with my peers are precious, and attending school without working was a great blessing."

Additionally, she shared, "At the time, when auditions didn't go well, I thought, 'Let's do something else,'" and "Being so young, I felt I had time, so if things didn't work out, I was ready to reset my life and start over."
