The course for this competition is a grueling one, consisting of snow-covered flatlands, a golf course, and a snow zone. Crews, made up of five members each, begin running in temperatures that feel like -8 degrees Celsius with strong winds. As each runner completes the course and crosses the finish line, they collapse from exhaustion, leaving the remaining runners in shock and tension. Im Se-mi expresses her anxiety, saying, "Everyone collapses after finishing. What on earth is the course like?"
Im Soo-hyang also struggles, exclaiming, "Oh no, this is bad," as she stops for the first time on the icy path. She shares, "Suddenly, it felt like an electric shock, and my knee hurts so much." Despite the pain, Im Soo-hyang tightens her knee brace to the point of cutting off circulation and limps on to finish the race, only to collapse from exhaustion at the finish line.
'Run Crew's ace, Go Han-min, showcases his determination by participating in the 'Ultimate Crew Battle' just 10 days after undergoing meniscus surgery. He declares, "We'll show what we've built up so far," as he takes on the fourth leg of the race. Despite potential post-surgery complications, Go Han-min's fierce pace leaves Yoo Seon-ho in awe, saying, "Even after surgery, he's faster than us."
Meanwhile, Sean and Im Se-mi encounter unexpected challenges. Im Se-mi gets lost during the race, leading to a moment of panic. She exclaims, "What should I do?" as she anxiously paces, aware that every second counts in the rankings. The focus is on whether Im Se-mi can pull off a comeback.
Sean, taking on the final leg, confidently declares, "Today, our 'Run Crew' will make history!" However, midway through the race, he suddenly feels dizzy and collapses. Commentator Bae Sung-jae expresses concern, saying, "I've never seen Sean like this before." The audience is left wondering what crisis Sean is facing.
