Basketball Player Lee Kwan-hee Apologizes to Broadcaster Hong Jin-kyung After Controversial Remarks
Basketball player Lee Kwan-hee has issued an apology to broadcaster Hong Jin-kyung.

On October 31, Hong Jin-kyung shared three photos on her Instagram with hashtags '#SingleInferno' and '#ApologyInferno'.

The photos revealed a message exchange between Hong Jin-kyung and Lee Kwan-hee. Lee sent a lengthy apology message to Hong, stating, "I really admire you, but I'm sorry for causing this controversy." Hong responded, "Please stop apologizing," and added, "I also make unintentional mistakes while broadcasting," accepting his apology.

Previously, on October 27, Lee Kwan-hee reviewed the ongoing show 'Single Inferno 5' with fellow 'Single Inferno 3' participant Yoon Ha-bin on his YouTube channel 'Basketball Player God Kwan-hee'. During the review, Lee remarked, "I wanted to say this, but it annoys me that Jin-kyung, who probably doesn't know much about dating, is giving dating advice." He further commented, "Honestly, I don't think Jin-kyung is better at dating than I am," in a mocking tone.

Yoon Ha-bin appeared somewhat taken aback and distanced himself by saying, "This has nothing to do with me." However, Lee continued, "Jin-kyung doesn't seem to fit," and added, "Jin-kyung, do better. It's not entertaining," which was criticized as rude.

Meanwhile, Lee Kwan-hee debuted in 2011 and has been playing for the Seoul Samsung Thunders since last year. In August of the same year, he appeared as a panelist on the dating show 'Really Good Person'.
