On February 1st, Lee posted a lengthy message on her Instagram with the caption, 'January Recap: Gap Year Story.'
She began by asking, 'Is everyone doing well?' and continued, 'I'm doing quite well. As of January 1st, I resigned from the law firm and am taking a break from YouTube. I'm completely unemployed now,' she revealed.
Lee went on to say, 'As I inquire about your well-being, I'm here to share the beginning and end of my unemployed life.' She mentioned that she first caught up on overdue communications and appointments to organize her relationships. She added, 'This is already my second gap year in my short 30-something years of life,' and explained that she is spending this time asking herself daily what she needs to make this potentially daunting and empty period comfortable and satisfying.
Lee advised her followers, 'Since it's still the beginning of the year, everyone, run when you need to and rest well when you can. And... don't forget me🫂.'
Meanwhile, Lee Joo-mi gained attention for her impressive credentials when she appeared on Channel A's 'Heart Signal Season 4' in 2023, where she mentioned her profession as a lawyer.
