LE SSERAFIM's Huh Yunjin showcased a confident live performance at their recent concert, overcoming past criticisms of her vocal abilities. However, the heavy use of AR overshadowed her vocals, leaving some fans wanting more.
On the evening of the 1st, LE SSERAFIM held their encore concert, 'LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT' ENCORE IN SEOUL', at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.
The concert was held in a relaxed atmosphere, with fans enjoying the positive energy of the performance. Huh Yunjin's vocals, though occasionally audible, exuded confidence. Kim Chaewon also impressed with her strong vocals, cutting through the loud AR.
The main drawback was the reliance on AR, which overshadowed the live vocals of Huh Yunjin and other members, making it difficult to feel the live presence.
This approach seems to be in response to past criticisms of LE SSERAFIM's live performance skills. Following their 2024 Coachella performance, the group faced public scrutiny over their live vocals. Previously, main vocalist Huh Yunjin performed the late Kim Hyun-sik's classic 'Like Rain, Like Music' at the '40th Golden Disc Awards' in Taipei, where her live vocals were critiqued for pitch and breath control issues.
Since April last year, LE SSERAFIM has performed 29 shows across 19 cities, including Japan, Asia, and North America, selling out 12 of these venues. In November, they performed at the Tokyo Dome, attracting around 80,000 fans over two days.
The encore concert in Seoul took place over two days, from the 31st to the 1st, at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium.
