A video released in 2023 has been gaining attention on online communities. The video, posted on the online lecture brand channel where Lee worked, features her candidly sharing her experiences with blind dates, which she had only been on three times in her life.
Lee Ah-young revealed, "I've only been on three blind dates in my life, and the first one was the worst." She recounted that in her early 20s, a female acquaintance in her late 30s suggested the first blind date. The man she met appeared financially well-off, even paying for a meal for eight people. Their meetings continued in luxurious settings like hotel lounges.
She continued, "In return, she asked for a 1 billion won commission if the marriage happened and even suggested signing a contract. I was shocked and immediately informed my family and cut off contact."
Currently, Lee Ah-young is married to actor Ryu Si-won, and they have a daughter together. She is also appearing on the TV Chosun variety show 'Joseon's Love Conqueror,' where she shares glimpses of her daily life.
