In a recent episode of the YouTube channel 'Entertainment Round,' a video titled "Assets Lacking for His Age... Ji Sang-ryeol Speaks with His Eyes" was released.
During the video, Ji Sang-ryeol was asked about his assets in a segment styled like a matchmaking service evaluation. He candidly admitted, "I don't own any land or buildings. I only have a house in Songdo, Incheon."
The matchmaking service representative bluntly commented, "Your assets are lacking for your age," leaving Ji momentarily speechless. The production team added a humorous caption, "Speaking harsh words with his eyes," which drew laughter. The conversation then shifted to his annual income, capturing viewers' attention.
An expert explained, "As a freelancer, his income fluctuates. Freelancers can't join. Women don't mind, but men can't join. Women prefer stable income."
Ji Sang-ryeol responded, "It's frustrating, but I understand," and the expert informed him, "Your annual income score is 4 out of 14, which is a D grade, so you can't join." Ji humorously quipped, "Isn't that what we call being 'benched' in professional terms?" eliciting more laughter.
Meanwhile, Ji Sang-ryeol has been in the spotlight for his public relationship with Shin Bo-ram, a former flight attendant turned show host, who is 16 years his junior. Last year, Ji won the Excellence Award in the Reality category at the '2025 KBS Entertainment Awards' and expressed his joy, saying, "I've met a precious person. I will continue my warm relationship with Shin Bo-ram," garnering much attention and support.
