Chef Napoli Mafia Empathizes with Contestants as Judge on 'Bake Your Dream'
Chef Napoli Mafia, whose real name is Kwon Sung-joon, deeply empathized with the contestants as a judge.

On the afternoon of the 30th, the production presentation for MBN's K-bakery survival show 'Bake Your Dream' was held at the Stanford Hotel Korea in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by PD Yoon Se-young, Lee Da-hee, Noh Hee-young, Lee Seok-won, Kwon Sung-joon, and Mimi.

'Bake Your Dream' is the first-ever K-bakery survival show in Korea, aiming to select the world's best pastry chefs, riding the wave of the 'K-bread' trend that has become more than just food. A total of 72 bakers and pastry chefs will compete for a grand prize of 100 million won.

Kwon Sung-joon, who participated as a contestant in Netflix's 'Black and White Chef' Season 1 in the second half of 2024, has now taken a seat as a judge on 'Bake Your Dream' after about a year.

He deeply related to the bakers from the contestants' perspective. He stated, "In survival shows, there are many moments when participants feel like giving up." He continued, "We filmed 'Bake Your Dream' at the end of the year, a busy time for bakeries. Many wanted to quit due to mental and physical exhaustion, but I often told them, 'You might regret it for the rest of your life.'"

Kwon Sung-joon added, "I know the value of opportunities because my life changed through such a program. So, I frequently offered positive words."

Meanwhile, 'Bake Your Dream' is set to premiere on February 1st at 9:40 PM.
