Seo Dong-joo, a former lawyer turned TV personality, who recently remarried and purchased a home worth approximately $1.2 million, shares her investment strategies.

Seo Dong-joo, who is also an author and painter, will appear as a special MC on KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang'.

During a recent studio recording of 'Pyeonstorang', Seo Dong-joo joined as a special MC. The hosts introduced her by highlighting her impressive academic background, including her graduation from MIT, a master's degree from Wharton School, and law school. They then asked about her rumored talent in financial investments.

Seo Dong-joo responded, "While investing is my main interest, I'm not particularly skilled at it. My husband and I enrolled in an auction academy to study and work hard together." She continued, "With limited seed money, we aimed to purchase our newlywed home through an auction, successfully bidding on an old house, which we remodeled and now live in." She also mentioned that the house is in a redevelopment area, surprising everyone. The 'Pyeonstorang' team expressed admiration, calling her a "brain".

On the same day, Seo Dong-joo was captivated by a VCR segment featuring Lee Jung-hyun and her husband's affectionate interactions. Seo Dong-joo, who also has an age-gap marriage and recently tied the knot in June, could relate to their dynamic.

MC Boom asked, "Are you usually expressive with affection?" Seo Dong-joo replied, "I try to be," revealing her playful side, which surprised everyone. She also shared their pet names, saying, "My husband calls me 'baby,' and I call him 'Myung Myung'." The story behind calling her husband, who is four years younger, 'Myung Myung' left the 'Pyeonstorang' studio in stitches.

Seo Dong-joo, daughter of the late Seo Se-won and Seo Jung-hee, graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law and worked as a lawyer in the U.S. She remarried last year to someone in the entertainment industry. During their wedding preparations, they successfully bid on a house in Chang-dong, Dobong-gu, for $1.2 million, which is now part of a redevelopment area.
