NCT's Doyoung Donates $100,000 for Youth Independence Support During Military Service

NCT member Doyoung has made a generous donation while serving in the military.

World Vision, an international relief and development NGO, announced on the 30th that Doyoung has donated 100 million KRW (approximately $100,000) to support youth preparing for independence in honor of his birthday.

Doyoung empathized with the challenges faced by young people who need encouragement even after leaving protective care. He decided to make this donation hoping to help them establish a foundation for self-reliance.

World Vision plans to use the donation in collaboration with 13 independent support agencies across the country to assist 21 young individuals with housing and emergency living expenses, helping them maintain stability and build a foundation for independence.

Doyoung expressed, "I want to be a small help to everyone who dreams. I will also continue to dream endlessly."

World Vision President Cho Myung-hwan said, "We are grateful for Doyoung's heartfelt contribution, even while serving in the military. We will do our best to ensure this donation leads to real change in the lives of young people preparing for independence."

Last October, Doyoung also donated 100 million KRW through World Vision to support the construction of a school in Bugondo Village, Uganda, providing a safe and conducive learning environment for children struggling with poor educational conditions.
