As of 7 AM on the 29th, it was confirmed that the late Mo Su-jin's Instagram account has been set to private.
Previously, on the 27th, Acoustic Collabo's agency, Panic Button, announced, "Mo Su-jin left us on the 25th."
The agency stated, "In accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family, we have decided not to disclose the cause of death or any detailed information. We ask everyone to quietly mourn so that her final journey can be peaceful."
Acoustic Collabo, the group Mo Su-jin was part of, is a mixed acoustic duo. They debuted in November 2010 with 'Love is The Key.' After several member changes, Mo Su-jin joined as the new vocalist in August 2019, overcoming a competition ratio of 1600 to 1.
Their notable songs include 'Let's Break Up,' 'Missing You, Missing Me,' 'I'll Let You Go Now,' 'Sometimes,' 'I Think I Like You,' 'I Like Being With You,' 'Be Your Star,' 'Talk About It Tomorrow,' and 'Question Mark About a Good Goodbye.'
During her lifetime, Mo Su-jin also pursued a solo career under the stage name Cloudy, releasing songs such as 'Flight,' 'Fade Away,' 'Be My Love,' and 'Your Universe.' She ended a legal dispute with her former agency and terminated her contract in 2023, announcing a fresh start with a new agency, Panic Button, last year.
In June of last year, Mo Su-jin expressed, "I am releasing a meaningful first song with my new agency," but the news of her passing less than a year later adds to the sorrow.
