RIIZE member Shotaro has directly addressed the dating rumors involving him and aespa's Giselle.
On the 29th, Shotaro engaged with fans through a live broadcast on the fan communication platform Weverse. During the session, some fans brought up the dating speculation between him and Giselle. Responding to this, Shotaro remarked, "There have been strange things coming up since earlier," initiating the conversation.
Shotaro firmly denied the rumors, stating, "There's talk about 'dating Giselle,' but we are not in that kind of relationship at all." He clarified further by saying, "We are just colleagues from the same company and good friends."
He reiterated, "We are not in such a relationship, so please don't misunderstand." He added, "I didn't want to react to such comments, but I will report those sending strange messages."
Shotaro and Giselle are both under SM Entertainment, sharing the same birth year of 2000 and Japanese nationality. Shotaro debuted as a member of NCT in 2020 and re-debuted with RIIZE in 2023. Giselle debuted with aespa in 2020 and is actively promoting with the group.
