Kyung-soo from the 22nd season of 'I Am Solo' appeared on a TV show with his wife Ok-soon to share their remarriage story.
Recently, Ok-soon and Kyung-soo, a couple from the 'I Am Solo' divorcee special, appeared on tvN's 'Kim Chang-ok Show 4'.
During the show, Ok-soon introduced her husband, saying, "I was raising my five-year-old son alone when I met my current husband." She candidly shared her feelings about being three months into her remarriage and newlywed life.
Ok-soon expressed her happiness, saying, "He treats me so well that I wonder, 'How can he do this much for me?'" However, she also admitted her fears, saying, "I'm so scared he might leave every time he does something for me," shedding tears.
Listening to this, Kyung-soo shared, "She sometimes tells me things like this, and it made me think. I met my ex-wife in college and was married for ten years, but we divorced due to her infidelity."
Reflecting on his past marriage, Kyung-soo felt he might have neglected his ex-wife due to his busy schedule. He confessed, "When I meet someone, I feel like I have to do everything for them, thinking that's how to keep them. When I give gifts to my wife or receive them, it feels like I'm getting a waiver from separation. Seeing my partner happy with what I do gives me peace of mind."
Kim Chang-ok advised, "I want to say that love is not just about doing things for someone. Waiting, acknowledging the other person, these might be closer to the essence of love. Giving because of one's own deficiencies is not love. You shouldn't try to keep a family just by doing things for them. If you balance doing things with waiting and acknowledging, your spouse will naturally come to you."
Meanwhile, Ok-soon and Kyung-soo from the 22nd season of 'I Am Solo' appeared on the SBS PLUS, ENA divorcee special, developed a romantic relationship, and legally married in May. Ok-soon is raising her son, and Kyung-soo is raising his daughter, forming a new family of four.
