K-Pop sensation TWS is set to make a comeback with a refreshing new track.
According to Pledis Entertainment, a label under HYBE Music Group, TWS members Shin Yu, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, and Kyung Min will release their digital single '다시 만난 오늘' (Nice to see you again) on February 9.
The song is a Korean version of their Japanese debut single 'Nice to see you again' (Japanese title はじめまして/하지메마시테), which was a massive hit last summer. The track captures the miraculous journey of becoming 'us' after a chance reunion, expressed with the clear emotions of late winter, as explained by their agency.
The original 'Nice to see you again' topped the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart. The album featuring this track achieved double crowns on the Oricon weekly chart and received a 'Platinum' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for over 250,000 shipments. TWS successfully established themselves in the Japanese music market, ranking second in the '2025 Oricon Annual Newcomer Ranking'.
This ongoing popularity has fueled the creation of the Korean version. TWS has performed the song at various events, including year-end specials, major festivals, and global music award shows, receiving enthusiastic responses. '다시 만난 오늘' is anticipated to be a delightful surprise for their fans, known as 42.
TWS continues to enjoy long-lasting popularity with their mini-album 'play hard'. The title track 'OVERDRIVE' has sparked the 'Angtal Challenge', where fans shake their shoulders to the chorus, maintaining high positions on various music charts. With the release of their new song, TWS's upward trajectory is gaining attention. They will continue their global expansion with the 'TWS TOUR '24/7:WITH:US' IN KAOHSIUNG' at the Kaohsiung Music Center from January 31 to February 1.
